Rosie:
Hello, my name is Rosie Wright and this is Alex Wright my husband. We’ve been with Permanent Wealth since we started, and Adam Walkom is our financial adviser.
So I’ve known Adam for a long time, I very much trust his judgement and the advice that he gives both of us. I think we had some money from our parents, you were making quite a lot of money in your business, and we thought it was time to engage a financial adviser and take advice from him.
Alex:
Adam and I have had a friendship for some time and I very much wanted more for what I was getting at the time with another financial advising company, which was all part of a large corporate, which is private pension. I moved on and was running my own company, and needed a greater personal touch, and a high level of advice.
For me, Adam has got more than the normal financial adviser that I’ve come across over the last few years. Adam has got his MBA in Australia, we’ll happily discuss articles, especially from Harvard Business Review about businesses, where certain businesses are going, but most importantly, he has a great depth of markets, international as well as national markets, and he’s able to discuss these at great depth.
Rosie:
So over the years, Adam and his team have really helped us in terms of being able to give us clear guidance on how we should be investing our money and every year we have an annual review, which is incredibly helpful. So you really feel that he knows where we are at and also where we want to be going in the future with our investments.
Working with Adam and Permanent Wealth makes me feel really reassured and confident that our money is in very safe hands. He’s very approachable. I know that if there’s any worries at any point, we can always get in touch with him and be reassured that everything is okay.
Alex:
I feel very confident about my financial future. We know It is a long term game, we know that is where we want to be, and we want to be in a position to hopefully build wealth that we can pass on efficiently.
Rosie:
The three words I would use to describe Adam are he has “integrity”, “honesty”, and he’s very “receptive” to ideas.
Alex:
The best thing about working with Adam is the ability to be able to get hold of him at any time.
Rosie:
The best piece of advice that Adams been able to give us is how to set up saving for our children’s financial futures. So for example, setting up ISAs, and really putting the groundwork in now for their later lives.
I would definitely recommend Adam and Permanent Wealth, I find it incredibly reassuring that we are working with Adam and he is very mindful of our needs and very good at giving us sound advice, which we very often take him up on.
