My name is Jamie Thompson. I’ve been a client of Permanent Wealth for about five years, and Adam is my financial adviser.
I got in touch with Permanent Wealth after they were recommended by a friend. I’ve been put on to them being a very good company, so we approached them and asked if they could help.
We approached Permanent Wealth mainly because we had quite a unique situation, in that we had a limited company and a personal company. We were trying to figure out the best way to use our money, where to put it, and what to do with it.
We chose Permanent Wealth purely based on the fact that they provided us with the best solution for what we needed. Adam was incredibly friendly and helpful, and really supported us with the issues that we were having; it was almost like a one-stop-shop for what we needed.
Very recently, Permanent Wealth helped us when we were having a lot of work done on our house, including a big extension. They were able to advise the best way to utilise our money and where to pull it from. For example, we discussed whether we were taking it from savings, or how it would work best and most efficiently, financially speaking.
For us, working with Permanent Wealth is like having a safety blanket. If we’re ever going through big life changes, it’s great to be able to come to someone for advice and ask the best way to approach something. Adam is always there and he’s always very happy to help. For example, when the pandemic was coming through and we had the financial crash, it was always nice to be able to ask someone what the best route through, and to have someone calm to speak to so you’re not flapping around.
For us, our financial future with Permanent Wealth looks great. They do projected figures of how much we should be doing when things change, so it’s nice to be able to see a forecast for the future and how that will work and affect when we can retire and how much money we’ll have. It’s good to have a bit of direction and foresight into the future.
I would describe Permanent Wealth as efficient, effective and friendly.
I think the best thing about working with Permanent Wealth is having a support blanket for our finances, knowing that we’re supported when we need advice. You get bi-annual phone calls from them, going through your finances and making sure you’re happy, even if you don’t need them. The calls are just so you’re on the right track and to see if they can help with anything. So, it’s nice to feel that you’ve got that support financially.
I would 100% recommend Permanent Wealth, and we’ve done so to a few friends and family. They offer great advice and are a great company overall, so we’d 100% recommend them.
