About Adam

Adam has worked on the front-line of financial markets for more than twenty-five years. During that time, he has gained a deep understanding of how markets work and developed his ability to explain them in a language anyone can understand. Adam uses these skills in his day-to-day work with clients, leveraging his knowledge and experience to tailor advice for each unique situation.

His blog, The View From Barley Mow, provides both clients and a growing number of subscribers with a weekly round-up of Adam’s thoughts on significant events in the world of finance, whilst his most recent book: Plan for Happy – A step-by-step guide to growing your money, aims to place the basic skills of financial planning into everyone’s home.

Adam moved into financial planning in 2014 after his previous career on a trading floor in the city and in management consulting. In 2020, he founded Permanent Wealth Partners, focusing his work on professionals in the financial sector, management consultants and entrepreneurs. As someone whose career has covered all three of these, Adam has first-hand knowledge of the unique financial challenges facing clients working in those sectors.

The combination of Adam’s range of professional experience with his knowledge of financial markets and investment management, enables him to provide guidance that is finely tuned to the individual challenges and opportunities his clients face.
